  • Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria
  • Global Partnership for Sustainable Tourism Criteria (STC Partnership)
  • Baseline Criteria of the Sustainable Tourism Certification Network of the Americas
  • Agenda 21 and principles for Sustainable Development endorsed by 182 Governments at the United Nations Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992

Green Globe Process

Once you have decided to take a certification you first become a Green Globe member directly on their website. Here the membership is paid and l am assigned as your auditor. My charges are also paid through their website once the audit is completed. A business has a year to complete the certification process. All the criteria are accessed through your account on their website, where Green Globe will remove any Non-Applicable compliances beforehand. Here you upload all required policies and other evidence documents for the auditor to consider and help direct. Once you have become a member I cannot work as a consultant for you. An auditor is required to be independent and impartial during the audit.
