Reducing Single-Use Plastic

We are passionate about creating more public awareness around the benefits of adopting sustainable practices and the reduction of single-use plastic at work and at home. As it is, there is already high levels of plastic pollution in the environment. More than 8 million tons of plastic enter the ocean each year. This causes great harm to marine ecosystems. We depend on the ocean for our survival. Plastics are broken down into tiny pieces, by a combination of salt and sun. Small fish, and other microorganisms mistakenly eat this ‘micro plastic’ and so the plastic goes up the fish food chain to us. So plastic is already in our food chain. We can only transform this disaster by taking every effort to remove plastic from our daily lives.
